Fox has announced rated (83 mins) and unrated (85 mins) editions of Date Movie which stars Alyson Hannigan. The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. The unrated DVD includes a commentary by Writer Jason Friedberg and Writer/Director Aaron Seltzer, a second commentary with the cast, an anti-commentary by a film critic, a laugh track (taken from a test screening), and twelve extended/alternate scenes. Completing this packed release will be a Memorable Dates featurette, Fox Movie Channel Presents "Making A Spoof", diary entries, audition tapes, some ’romantic screensavers’, Peter Jackson’s Secret Diary, a Peter Jackson as Harry Potter easteregg, trailers and TV spots. The rated disc loses the extended scenes, the audition tapes, and diary features.
