Two of Scary Movie’s writers, Jason and Aaron, are back again, and this time with a romantic comedy, Date Movie which has the tagline, “For people who LOVE date movies and people who HATE them”. We can see How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan as Julia, a simple girl looking for love. This movie has focused attention on weight challenged individuals. Julia starts out pretty heavy and makes a transformation with the help of a love doctor. She becomes an object of desire by shredding excess weight in an extreme make over. This Romantic comedy is treated with spoofs of hit movies like King Kong, Kill Bill, The Wedding Planner, Meet the Fockers and Wedding Crashers. It is inspired by Eddie Murphy’s The Nutty Professor and Martin Lawrence’s Big Momma’s House. To make adramatic transformation, Alyson has stepped into a fat suit for a realistic look.
