Alyson Hannigan Is Out Of The Game

ABC has all but wrapped up its drama development, greenlighting a quartet of pilots from Touchstone Television.

Pilot season is also progressing at NBC and the WB, which have each placed an additional drama into their 2005-06 mix.

And on the casting front, Alyson Hannigan won’t be joining ABC’s upcoming Jennifer Love laffer "In the Game" after all (Daily Variety, Jan. 5). Instead, the role will be filled by Sara Gilbert ("Roseanne"), who will guest star in the role.

Gilbert has had recent guest turns on "ER" and "24."

    I just read another article on this website that said Alyson will be in the February 22nd episode of Veronica Mars, at least thats the way i read it.

    Im not excited about a show with Jennifer Love Hewwit. But i WAS going to watch it just to see Alyson every week.

    Well this is her second (that i know of) sitcom down the drain. Maybe shell get one one of these days. :(

    If she gets a reoccuring role on Veronica Mars (which is a possibility) I’m much more excited by that than a dead end Love-Hewitt paint by the numbers sitcom.
