Alyson HanniganAlyson Hannigan Meets Luke Perry Again

After the recent ceiling-based interruption to performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, both Harry and Sally will meet each other on stage once again tonight.
Towards the end of Saturday’s performance a small amount of plaster fell from the ceiling, causing Luke Perry, currently playing Harry, to help theatre staff evacuate the auditorium. Although there were no serious injuries, performances on Monday and Tuesday were cancelled while an investigation into the incident took place. But from tonight both Perry and current co-star Alyson Hannigan will be back on stage to finish their current run in When Harry Met Sally. The investigation into the incident has been completed and Westminster City Council has confirmed to the Theatre that all obligations have been met. In confirming the resumption of performances, the theatre’s chairman, Arnold Crook and the producer of When Harry Met Sally, James Tod joined in thanking the public, staff and cast for their understanding during the brief hiatus.
Hannigan and Perry make their final appearances in the play on May 29 and will be replaced from June 1 by Brat-Packer Molly Ringwald and Final Destination 2 star Michael Landes. Also joining the cast are Dexter Fletcher and Susannah Wise.
