For the past four seasons, Amy Acker has been winning over fans as Fred on the hit WB series ANGEL to which USA Today recently gave an impressive 4-star rating. As a beautiful brainiac, Winifred assists Angel rid the Los Angeles streets of evil from one week to the next.

Photographer Lionel Deluy describes her as a classic beauty. "I loved working with her. She projects intelligence and confidence with unpretentiousness. She has star quality."

After a brief stint in New York City, Acker settled in Los Angeles where shortly thereafter, she starred for writer/director William Shatner in the independent film GROOM LAKE. Her role on ANGEL soon followed.

Born and raised in Dallas, Acker is an accomplished dancer having studied ballet, modern, and jazz for 13 years before earning her BFA degree from renown Southern Methodist University.

When not in production, Acker travels, reads, and practices yoga.
