Eight guys I dream of seeing at Sunday’s Emmy ceremony:

• James Spader He’s nominated for his role on The Practice this year. To many of us, he’ll always be Steff.

• Kermit the Frog What, you didn’t know he was renting a tux? The amphibian will appear on ABC’s Emmys pre-show.

• David Cross While he wasn’t nominated for Arrested Development, I’m hoping he’ll still show up to mock people.

• Chris Rock His HBO comedy special was nominated this year. (Too bad it already lost to Elaine Stritch’s special in an earlier ceremony).

• Brad Pitt He may be too busy making movies to attend with Jen. But just let me fantasize about it for another minute.

• Al Pacino I do think he’ll win for Angels in America. And if I see him, I just might vomit from nervousness.

• Zach Braff He’ll be presenting this year. Maybe we’ll see him again at the Oscars.

• James Marsters It would’ve been great to see the Angel vampire win an overdue trophy. Alas, he wasn’t nominated, which really bites.
