Anthony Stewart Head - "Him & Us" Pilot - Buffy mentor to star in Elton John sitcom pilot

British actor Anthony Steward Head, best known as Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will return to television in the lead role of a new sitcom executive produced by Elton John, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Head will star in the pilot for ABC’s Him & Us, about an over-the-hill queer British rocker and his circle of friends and hangers-on.

Head’s other credits include the HBO film And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself as well as the much-buzzed-about series of Taster’s Choice TV commercials in the 1990s.
