DEAR STACY: What’s new with Catherine Bell, who played Mac on "JAG"? — T.C., Rockaway Park, N.Y.

DEAR T.C.: Having starred in "The Triangle," the Sci-Fi Channel’s Bermuda Triangle-themed miniseries, last December, Bell went on to make a major CBS pilot called "Company Town," dealing with the lives of government agents, with a cast including Sherry Stringfield, Michael Michele, Gary Cole, Ian Anthony Dale, Esai Morales and Blair Underwood.

Directed by Thomas Carter, it looked like a hot bet for a while — but did not make the cut for fall.

DEAR STACY: What’s the status of the Mel Gibson "Apocalypto" movie? — Jason N., Newark, N.J.

DEAR JASON: Gibson’s action epic about the bloody decline of the ancient Mayan civilization (filmed in their language) wrapped production earlier this year, and is planned for a Dec. 8 opening. The often-controversial star raised eyebrows when he compared the fearmongering and human sacrifice of the Mayans to George W. Bush’s political actions.

DEAR STACY: What have the stars from the late ’80s Vietnam TV drama "Tour of Duty" been up to, namely Tony Becker and Terrence Knox? — Les D., Springfield, Mass.

DEAR LES: Both actors continue to work, mostly doing guest roles in episodic shows, such as "Strong Medicine" (Becker), "Six Feet Under" and "The Agency" (Knox).

DEAR STACY: Please settle a disagreement. Do John Schneider and Tawny Little have children? — Joy L., Long Beach, Calif.

DEAR JOY: The former "Dukes of Hazzard" and "Smallville" actor has three children with Elly Castle, his wife since 1993. Little, the 1976 Miss America-turned-broadcasting personality, has three sons, two from a past marriage and another from her current marriage, to Rick Welch. Little and Schneider did not, however, have any children together during their 1983-1986 marriage.

DEAR STACY: Was Eva Longoria married to an actor on "General Hospital"? — E.M., Jackson Heights, N.Y.

DEAR E.M.: The "Desperate Housewives" sexpot was wed to Tyler Christopher of "General Hospital" fame from 2002 to 2004. These days, she’s linked with basketball star Tony Parker.

DEAR STACY: What is Nathan Fillion up to these days? How about some background information? — Jordan P., Astoria, N.Y.

DEAR JORDAN: The 35-year-old Edmonton, Alberta-born actor — most famous for playing Capt. Malcolm Reynolds in Joss Whedon’s "Firefly" and big-screen "Serenity" — has the Keri Russell independent drama, "Waitress," in the can. He’s also made "White Noise 2: The Light," in which he plays a man who finds he can identify people who are about to die. He was seen earlier this year in James Gunn’s horror comedy "Slither." Fillion, who is 6-foot-1, initially planned to go into teaching, but found himself increasingly taken with his drama studies at the University of Alberta. While still a student, he landed a role in ABC’s 1993 telepic "Ordeal in the Arctic." Following that, he won the part of Joey Buchanan on daytime’s "One Life to Live" and moved to New York. His soap stint lasted ’til 1997. Other credits include the sitcom "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place," and the features "Saving Private Ryan" and "Blast From the Past."
