I always feel bad for Bai Ling, she’s a very talented actress, who also had the guts to protest the political problems and injustices in her home country of China, including being part of the Tianamen Square riots. After she was in that film Red Corner (where there were serious questions raised about the Chinese judicial system) she had her passport taken off her, and she was banned from ever going back to China, probably because the film hit a little too close too home.
She’s just made a few bad choices regarding roles and clothing, I guess she only wants to do things that are challenging.
She’s obviously a good person, who’s not afraid top stand up for what she believes in, and she deserves better than this.
