SPIKE: ASYLUM coming in September 2006 !

Current mood: Whedony

I’m writing a five issue mini series for IDW Publishing called SPIKE: ASYLUM. The cover to issue one is among my pictures, go click and check it it out.

The series is being drawn by Franco Urro, who is more talented than me and it is an honor to work with him. He lives in someplace named "Italy", which I think is in Florida.

It stars Spike from ANGEL and BUFFY, so I’m in dork heaven. Spike is a vampire who used to be bad, but then he fell in love with Buffy and fought for a soul, so he could be good. Now he’s trying to make amends for all the bad crap he’s done, but he’s still snarky and a smart-ass.

Anyway, it’s scary and loaded with action and pretty funny, so I hope you get it when it comes out. Issue one is solicited in next month’s PREVIEWS. First issue comes out in September, and then each issue will be released a month after.
