Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Though it may come to no surprise, the Joss Whedon penned, “Season 8” of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from Dark Horse is still one of the hottest books on the shelves. It’s gone into multiple printings of issues #1 and #2 and continues to sell out at shops every time.

“These books almost always sell out on the Wednesday we get them in,” confirms Chris Canibano of Calliope’s Realm Comics in Naperville, Il. “We have had numerous walk-in customers ask for [Buffy] specifically and we only have one copy of issue #3 left in the store. We have been ordering very heavy on these books and I believe so long as Joss Whedon is associated with it in any manner it will sell monstrous numbers. This is also the number-one book that we pre-sell on our website and I believe we may be Europe’s largest dealer situated in the US in Buffy comics since we sell about 50-100 copies a month to the UK, Italy and Spain.”
