Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Buffy returns to The WB ?

Friday 30 June 2006, by Webmaster

The Slayer back on the WB?!

Yep, indeed.

Don’t get too excited though. It’s a one-off thing, and it’s only for a very special occasion.... To say goodbye to it’s childhood home.

The WB will sign off the air forever on Sunday, Sept. 17, by rebroadcasting the pilot episodes of several of its signature skeins, including "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer," "Felicity" and "Dawson’s Creek”, says Variety.

As tube-watchers will all be aware, the WB is morphing with UPN to become the bigger, better, badder - “CW” network.

The WB made a name for itself with such shows as “Buffy” and “Dawson’s Creek”, so it makes sense - and I’m sure the fans will love it - that they go out, the way they came in.

(One can only hope that a network TV exec out there sees some of these great programmes, and is reminded of just how stellar they were. You never know, someone might initiate a revivification of some).

Wish Foxtell would have Buffy on again...I know I have the Dvd to play as i wish ..But It would be nice to flick on the Tv and See it still running...Its like its gone ,why bother playing it again...HEY!!! Fans still wanna see Buffy, even if it has ended..GEE!!they re-run enough other shows...why not Buffy and Angel....So Im glad WB is running Buffy again...There might be some who havnt seen all the episodes. seeing re-runs will make them interested in buying the dvd.....I give this return idea the thumbs up...*****
