DAVID BOREANAZ

D: I am here out of respect, out of love. Don’t ask me a Valentine’s question.

K: For Fox.

D: For Fox, Bones.

K: Well there goes my whole interview ‘cause I was gonna ask you all about Valentine’s Day. (David Laughs) Um, so Bones!

D: Yes

K: Totally picking up steam. The fans are way into it. Are you excited about the response to the show?

D: We are. I mean, the back nine are gonna be a good payoff for a lot of the characters, and solidify ourselves in a slot that keeps us there for a while. I mean, we had baseball, then we kinda crept in. We were on, we were off. I mean, all of those things. But I think now we have some kind of a payoff between the two characters. A little bit of back story with what Booth is goin’ through. You know, all that fun stuff. Juicy things that people like to watch.

K: And you guys have amazing chemistry together.

D: Yah, it’s gettin’ crazy.

K: Yah?

D: Well, I mean, you get to a point where it becomes comfortable in a good way between the two characters. They really work off each other. It’s like when you’re threading a needle, and it’s the hardest thing to do to keep it very simple, but keep it on the top level as far as the bubbles are concerned, the champagne, you don’t wanna just pop open the bottle. (Laughs) This is so exciting. (Kristin Laughing) It’s so intense. Cuvee Rose ’95.

BREAK

K: How’s your son?

D: Beautiful. It’s his first day of Karate today. He’s three and a half. He’s got the little white suit. What do they call it? Kojo?

K: Awww. There’s nothing cuter than a kid in the little white suit!

D: Yah. I know. There’s little suits, and he did good. I got pictures.

K: Three and a half? Is that even old enough for Karate?

D: Yah. Well, actually, we started Jaden out at one.

K: When he was in the womb!

D: (Laughing) We were just throwing stuffed animals at him! (Starts doing karate moves) HAI! HAI! HAI! (Kristin laughing) Kay, we’re gonna wrap.

K: Thank you so much.

D: (Looks into camera) Pleasure, E![/nobr]
