Educational Television ? Does it really exist ? (david boreanaz mention)

Okay...so I just finished my first blog, and I just had to start a second one. Yes, I can see an obsession coming along. Anyways, I would like to say that I"m not an avid watcher of tele. I only watch two shows, LOST and BONES. Let me tell you a bit about them before I continue.

LOST, a very popular show on ABC, is hard to describe. It is a show in which you either love it or hate it, or think it is honestly moronic. I find it highly entertaining to try and answer the questions, many which are impossible to solve. I started watching it because J.J. Abrams was involved, and I was a big fan of his Alias work.

BONES, on the other hand, could be classified as a procedural crime drama, but it is anything but. It is about the life of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reich’s, and the show stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz (many know him from Angel). The show is very character driven, and while I love learning new words, such as the occipital bone, I love how the show is realistic. To check it out, go here: http://fox.com/bones/

So yeah, with shows like the O.C. and Laguna Beach, can a valid assumption be made that television is causing the human race to become far less intelligent, and we are losing the inquisitive drive?
