Eliza Dushku - "Mamba" Movie - Tru star called for thriller

Wednesday 25 October 2006, by Webmaster

September 26, 2006 - Hottie Eliza Dushku, not seen on the big screen since 2003’s Wrong Turn, will star alongside Poseidon actor Mike Vogel in the new teen-centric thriller Mamba.

Dushku and Vogle, says industry mag Variety, will headline the flick which follows a group of surfers who find an old satanic board game called Mamba. As you might imagine, when a person loses in the game, they die a terrible death... do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Filming will reportedly begin Monday in northern Spain’s Basque Country and continue for the next eight weeks. The director is newbie Spanish helmer Alvaro de Arminan. The script was penned by Roderick and Bruce Taylor (The Brave One) and Antonio Caudri (The Heart of the Earth).

Miss Dushku, best known for her small screen roles in Tru Calling and Buffy the Vampire Slayer will also soon be seen in Nobel Son, which stars Alan Rickman and Bryan Greenberg, and the indie film On Broadway.
