This is a great episode. looks like this series could go far. Good soundtrack as well throughout. I recommend it. I’d like to see more of these episodes on here if possible.

This show looks like it has definate potential. Originally I thought that the whole "fear gene" thing was pretty dumb, but to my surprise the pilot was kicking severe portions of ass.
I’ve heard rumors though, that its not gonna be aired. I really hope that this isn’t true. I could really get into this show.
Well, I was always curious about this episode ever since THE WB decided to develop this series, and especially due to its cast composed by several known faces.
Unfortunately, this was the only episode ever produced. Fearless was scheduled to be showed in the fall of 2003, but due to production problems, THE WB bumped it to mid-season, replacing it with One Tree Hill. The writing staff and Bianca Lawson were later fired, and the production was trying to make the changes demanded by the WB, but they were never able to finish it, so by the end of 2003, or either begining of 2004, the series was oficially bumped from production.
Nice episode though, it does show some potential, but it actually needed some re-work.
The books are great, they really are. However, what I just saw totally killed them...it knocked them down, strangled them to death, and then danced on their grave. Obviously, WB tried to make it look like Alias and it just isn’t. The books were out WAY before Alias was even thought of. That’s probably why I don’t like Alias much, it’s too much like the Fearless novels. Also, in the books the whole "no fear gene" is not made out to be practically laughable as it is in the show. I was gravely disappointed. When Rachel first spoke at the beginning, I knew I wasn’t going to like it. I could rant for hours about what was changed from the books. However, I’d most likely would have watched the show, but probably griped most of the time. :-P Plus, they have Milo. I was so mad when they wrote him out on 24...:(

This is terrible, everyone i’ve spoke to who’s seen this and read the books agrees with me, where’s the blonde quirky Gaia we all know and love? if I remember rightly (which I do) Gaia is tall, blonde, athletic and beautiful, what’s going on with this? we have gone from Aphrodite to a pixie!

Seemed promising, but not the best. Never read the books (been meaning to though), however I don’t think the leading actress is right for the part. I imagined someone cool and graceful with an atttude. This chick didnt convince me. Think if they did the series they need to make it less Alias like and I am not just saying that because the show anoys me!
Yikes! This was just all-around BAD. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it was just lacking so much there was no way to save it. The acting is horrible. There seems to be no emotion what so ever. I especially hate the casting for Gaia. She was boring and slow, and didn’t seem to have any excitment. Everyone else seemed to be suffocating from her lack of.. expression?
Also, the plot was so bad. Soooo bad. I felt no pull, and no reason to continue watching.
The editing was horrible too. The cut screens and flashing hurts my eyes. The music selection was boring, basically using any hit music from the time to try and boost their rep.
Overall, this show really had no potential for a large market. Sure I would have sticked around for a season, out of loyalty for the books I love. But other than that, it probably would have been pulled mid-season
I liked the series so far I think it will be a great show. However, it was hard to incorporate the different characters and plot because I’ve been reading the fearless series and FBI series and have gotten used to how the characters are described in the book series. It was very different and did not correspond at all because the characters from the show and the book are completely different except the names. I think that if there was more similar things, like Gaia being blond and how she was described in the book. Also there was a change of characters and didn’t seem right but after watching the pilots overall the show was great and even though it wasn’t exactly like the book I really enjoyed it and hope that maybe in the future it will come out to television!
I LOVE the books and was thrilled when I heard they were making a TV series, because Fearless SCREAMS Tv. But, and I love rachael leigh cook, but she is NOT gaia moore at all. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaad casting. I agree that she doesnt come off fearless, more emotionless. In the books, Gaia at least had an attitude, which accounted for the personality aspect. But this is just, no. She doesnt look like Gaie, she doesn’t act like Gaia, even a grown up Gaia. The lack of a fear gene is what drew me to the books, but its the fact that she can be bitchy on the surface but desperately caring on the inside that kept me intrigued for 36 novels. Wheres all the attractive men that think she’s attractive when she doesnt think so herself? Huh? I wanted hunky actors to play Sam, Ed and Jake. Damn it. I say that im sad that fearless isnt being turned into a TV series, but Im glad that this isnt making it to the air too.
I think that the show would have been a hit...what were the producers thinking when they cut the show???i mean yeah there were a few things that needed to be changed...like rachel’s hair..gaia had blonde hair not brown, i think that she did really good in capturing gaia’s character. i think that a lot of people are being too hard on her because i mean have they ever tried not having fear, even pretending to, i think that yall should reopen the show and this time have it like francine pascal’s books..FEARLESS FBI. they should have will and kim and catherine and all of them come and i definately think that will capture everyone’s attention because i know that some people said they didnt’ like the show because it was too different from the books. yeah i do agree that its different from the books but i was hooked on them when i watched the pilots and i have probably watched them about five times for each pilot. i LOVE them yall should have aired it..

Not so much the characters that i would of liked I mean i think everybody is agreed on the fact gaia is blond and it was not that exciting but it was good for a pilot
This was absolutely amazing. I was hesitant at first when I saw Gaia had brown hair, when in the books it was blonde. Also, her dream was to become a waitress, not an FBI agent. And her dad was a CIA agent, not FBI. I was only planning to watch the first section, but then I couldn’t stop! It really did capture the way she really fought in the books. But a lot of the personality is different.... Loved it anyway.
It could have been soo much better. I still like it though. Could have been worse too.
But I would like it so much more if it was more high school-ish. Maybe it’s embarrasing, but i like high school dramas.
And i really miss Ed! He’s the best!
