Hot Box : TV to talk about (david boreanaz mention)

More Bones: It’s back and even better this year as the great TV team of Bones, Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, investigates the killing of a young girl (Fox, Global at 8).

Chubby Time: Caroline Rhea returns as host of the third season of The Biggest Loser, in which overweight contestants compete for prizes by losing that poundage. Pass the grapefruit juice, will ya? (NBC, CH at 8).

New Web: A new network is born: the CW. But most of its shows are old, like America’s Next Top Model 7 (CW, Citytv at 8).

Criminal Cases: Returning for its third season is Criminal Minds starring a great team of forensic tough guys headed by Mandy Patinkin, Thomas Gibson and Matthew Gray Gubler (CBS, CTV at 9).

Manhattan Murder: CSI: NY with Gary Sinise is back for a third season; a guy is discovered dead on the Brooklyn Bridge. Claire Forlani is the new medical examiner (CBS, CTV at 10).

Water Cooler: You’d think salad would be a safe subject for a talk-show host, right? But on Monday’s Rachael Ray premiere (it airs locally at 5 p.m. weeknights on Citytv), the host suggested replacing the arugula in a recipe with "any greens you like, or baby spinach." A spokesman later said the segment was taped Sept. 7, before the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned consumers not to eat uncooked spinach due to an E. coli outbreak.
