I can’t remember Smallville ever getting an overall rating of above 4.0 for an episode. Last night got a 3.9 in probably the worst time slot on network TV. I was kinda worried that it would fizzle against all the competition and end after this season. Boo yah. I think the casting people had to compensate for James being such a "Fine" actor with that guy who played Aquaman. I know very little about Superman outside of the obvious so I didn’t even know who Brainiac was. I hope there’s a way to keep him around for more than this year.
By the way - Whedonverse fans need to tune in next week. More James plus evidence that the writers realize how many fans James has from the Buffy/Angel days.
