No surprise here that the lovely 36-year-old Carpenter took a majority of the vote. After all, she does have a history with “Wonder Woman” writer and director Joss Whedon, having worked with him for 10 years on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and its spinoff, “Angel.” We know she’s available after getting killed off in the first episode of this season of “Veronica Mars.” Plus, in an interview she did last year, the mother of a 3-year-old even stated, “I’d like to [have another baby] eventually, but I want ‘Wonder Woman’ right now. I’m not holding my breath, but I’m crossing my fingers and toes and praying.” Seems like thousands of you are praying along with her, but don’t count out Morena Baccarin, the striking Brazilian-born beauty who recently turned 28. She has a history with Whedon, too (as a cast member of his series “Firefly” and its big-screen follow-up, “Serenity”), and she’s more along the lines of the age limit he has set for the role.
