ZAP2IT RATING: 2 and a half stars The deleted scenes in this horror classic have more explicit and bloody moments with the powerdrill in the head and the worst scene with the longhaired creepy guy who has the top of his head sawed off. You can see why they were cut, unless you really enjoy Tobe Hooper’s gore fest.

Some of the memorable scenes of the girl and the chain saw threatening to cut her in half will surely give you nightmares. The master of horror himself Tobe Hooper, gives commentary for the psychological thriller bound to scare you to death. Thousands of people move to Hollywood to pursue their dreams some succeed, some go home, others just disapperar. The apartments ending in the number four on each floor seem to have disappeared, and some intense remodeling is being done. It turns out a condo without the creepy condo complex was discovered, and there’s a scary character chopping up bodies within those walls.

Angela Bettis from "Girl, Interrupted" stars as well as Juliet Landau from "Angel" and Sheri Moon from "House of 1000 Corpses" all put in the same scary setting by the guy behind the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." There’s some sensuality, some brief drug use, and plenty of gore. Like all slasher horror films, it’s hard to care about some of the victims, and some of the people you think are the murderers are not — and as usual, after awhile, you don’t particularly care.
