Los Angeles Center Studios Welcomes 7 New TV Pilots and 300 Creative Staff Utilizing 45,000 Sq. Feet of Production Space Tuesday March 29, 10:00 am ET
- LACS Is City’s Most Active TV Production Facility With 12 Shows and 620 Creative Staff Using Approximately 71,500 Sq. Feet of Office Space

LOS ANGELES, March 29 /PRNewswire/ — Los Angeles Center Studios (LACS), Los Angeles’ premiere independent studio, announced today that seven television pilots have based their productions out of LACS. Four additional pilots, Crazy Lawyers (Chris O’Donnell), Westside, In Justice, and Murder Book (Josh Brolin) are shooting on location at LACS. Additionally, LACS’ pilot tenants Threshold and Fox have utilized sound stages for their productions.

These pilots join five other television shows currently located at LACS including CBS’ NUMB3RS, WB’s Blue Collar TV, Spike TV’s Super Agent, Comedy Central’s The Con, and Go Faster Productions. Not including the three additional pilots shooting at LACS, these 12 shows occupy approximately 71,500 square feet of office space and bring a minimum of 620 creative jobs to the studio on a daily basis.

The television pilots that are based at LACS include: ABC * Laws of Chance, starring Kadee Strickland and Bruce McGill, is about a feisty female in Houston who uses unconventional methods against old-boy Texas defense attorneys.

CBS * The Commuters, starring David Arquette and Jeri Ryan, is about the lives of three suburban couples in which the husbands commute by train together to New York.

* Threshold, starring Charles Dutton and Carla Gugino, is about a female government analyst who leads an alien "first contact" team.

Fox * Bones (a.k.a. Brennan), Executive Produced by Barry Josephson and starring David Boreanaz (Angel) and Emily Deschanel, is based on the true-life story of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reich.

* Briar & Graves, starring Elizabeth Rohm and Charles Mesure, is about a hard-living priest who partners with a female doctor to investigate unexplained religious phenomena.

* Untitled Diamond & Weissman Project, starring John Leguizamo and Executive Produced by Brett Ratner, is about parenthood for a sports agent dad and a magazine editor mom.

* Untitled Sean Jablonski Project, Executive Produced by Brian Grazer (Imagine Entertainment), is an ensemble drama featuring the staff at a fertility clinic.
