Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Nicholas Brendon, (who plays Xander Harris, the boy with the best one liners), has been cast in Fox’s pilot The Pool at Maddy Breakers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy "revolves around three 28-year-old women who struggle with the reality that they peaked in high school. Brendan will play the ex-boyfriend from high school for one of the women... " I’m glad we won’t have to let go of Nicholas for good next fall and plan to give it at least a couple viewings.

The Dark Horizons website has reported a bit about Nicholas Brendon, who portrays Xander Harris on UPN’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and what he may be up to after Buffy ends this season. Here’s what Amy Finnigan, someone from Nick’s production company, had to say on the matter: "Nick is in negotiations to shoot a pilot next week. He has met with casting directors and development execs at every major network and cable channel. He, his wife Tressa and I are developing television and film projects of his own. His interest in continuing with Buffy is that he loves his character, and will miss working with Joss and the cast and crew that he’s been with for seven years." You can check the full story here.
