  Shucks. I thought it was going to be about ’Ripper’ / Giles’ / Anthony Head’s earlier days before BtVS. Anyone know IF such a tv-movie is still being talked about ??

  From just a glance at the title, I wondered why SMG was getting a mention and not Anthony Head, and then glumly realised this wasn’t THE ’Ripper’.

  "Ripper" is most likely to be just a rumour. The rumour was taken from the IMDB board and the original poster was unable to produce an article from EW or Dreamwatch to back his/her claim. There is no conformation of the report from Miramax or any of the legitimate Hollywood press such as Variety nor any response from smgfan.
