Usually, celebrities aren’t the first people you think of as having realistic attitudes toward personal body image, but Sarah Michelle Gellar appears to be the exception.

The former vampire slayer told Glamour magazine she was the perfect choice to play a hooker in new film Southland Tales because she looks like a cross between a porn star and a prostitute.

“When you look at me, you think, ’I know: porn star!’” says the oddly candid star. “It’s sort of like a calling!”

Well, it’s a “calling” if you skip the whole “having to be naked thing” that goes with the motherly-pride-inducing career of porn star. Gellar has gone on record saying she won’t go topless in films after a bizarre rumour started that she would.

“My trainer said to me a few weeks ago, ‘So, we’ve got to start getting you into shape for this topless scene.’ And I was like, ‘I’m sorry, the what?’ And he said, ‘I read somewhere you said you really want to take your top off in a movie,’” says the modest (though pornolicious) Gellar.

“And I said, ‘OK, first of all, who would actually say, ‘You know what, in my next job, I really want to take my top off.’ Second of all, to know me is to know that’s not true.”

That pathetic sighing sound you just heard was the dreams of geeks in basements everywhere being shattered.
