Distrib will introduce pics at American Film Market

Media 8 Entertainment will rep overseas rights on a slate of five upcoming pics from Odd Lot Entertainment, including Sarah Michelle Gellar vehicle "The Girls’ Guide to Hunting and Fishing."

Media 8 will introduce the pics at the American Film Market next month in Santa Monica.

In addition to "Girls’ Guide," Media 8 will rep international rights on four pics being made by Odd Lot genre label Dark Lot, including "The Horror Chronicles," a three-pic anthology being sold as a package.

The "Chronicles" pics include supernatural thriller "The Crevice," directed by "Thirteen Ghosts" writer Neal Marshall Stevens; sci-fi horror pic "Living Hell," penned by "Cold Creek Manor" scribe Richard Jeffries; and "Buried Alive," by "The Hunted" helmer Art Monterastelli.

Fourth Dark Lot pic being repped by Media 8 under the agreement is "Undead or Alive," a "zombie Western comedy" that sends up both genres. Glasgow Phillips is writing and directing the film.

All the Odd Lot pics under the deal are skedded to lenselense in the first half of 2006.

Odd Lot was founded in 2001 by partners Deborah Del Prete and Gigi Pritzker. Banner recently financed and produced the Elijah Wood starrer "Green Street Hooligans."

Media 8’s prexyprexy is Jenna Sanz-Agero. Company’s upcoming credits include Randal Kleiser’s "Lovewrecked" and Mike Binder’s "Man About Town."
