LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - ’Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Sarah Michelle Gellar has vowed never to appear in the buff on screen.

The sexy actress has reportedly been offered a host of roles for "major money" to bare all in front of the cameras.

But Sarah Michelle, married to hunky actor Freddie Prinze Jr., has turned down the lucrative offers because she isn’t prepared to sell her body.

A representative for the stunning star said: "Sarah doesn’t do nudity, period. It has never been her thing."

The decision signals a major change of heart for Sarah Michelle who earlier this year said she was prepared to peel off - if the right role came along.

The stunning star was so desperate to shake off her teen star image she admitted she would consider appearing naked on screen if it would convince directors to cast her in more adult roles so.

When quizzed on the subject, she said at the time: "I am approaching 30 and I need a change.

"The sort of roles I would like are not being offered, so this way might just shock people into choosing me."

    Why, oh, why do people insist on continuing to perpetuate malicious gossip? The so-called "news" published a few months ago claiming Gellar was desperate to go nude in her films was a COMPLETE AND UTTER LIE started in the British tabloids and quickly spread across the Internet. No matter how often the lie is told it always remains a lie. Repeating it parrot fashion does not suddenly make it true. The latest little titbit in the New York Post is, basically, exactly the same thing but in reverse, simply something we already know used to fill up a couple of column inches. All it does is give the orginal gossip renewed legs. It is already well known that Gellar has stated on several occasions that she is not comfortable with the idea of doing nudes scenes and has no intention of doing so. There is no more to it than that. She has made a personal decision about what she wants to do - end of discussion.

    I knew the "Topless/nude role "rumors were just that ... Rumors. Absolutely no truth to them at all. But it’s good to hear her stand position ... and not back down as other actresses may.
