Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that her Buffy the Vampire Slayer fight training proved to be more of a hindrance than a help when she filmed her new supernatural thriller, The Grudge.

The film’s producers were apparently worried that Sarah was not acting like an everyday woman during The Grudge’s physical scenes.

"It was difficult to sometimes not look like Buffy," the actress is quoted by Teen Hollywood as saying. "I had this running scene and they kept making me do it over and over and over again, and I kept thinking I was messing up.

"But it was because I was running with my hands up in the professional position. And they kept saying, ’Flap your arms more!’"
