Serenity: Two-Disc Collector’s Edition

This terrific sci-fi/western combo, featuring the spaceship Serenity and its ragtag crew of smugglers and thieves, was adapted from Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon’s brilliant-but-canceled TV series Firefly. The movie died a second death at the box office, but obsessed fans of Whedon’s movie (myself included) will rejoice at this second DVD edition of the film, with new extras and a second commentary track from Whedon and the film’s cast.
