Seth Green on a "Buffy" movie - Moviehole.net Article

Dr Evil’s kid says he’d love it if Joss Whedon got his pad and pen out and started scribbling down ideas for a "Buffy" movie.

Seth Green, who played Oz on the cult series, says he’d definitely be up for it - should it happen.

"I’m always script-dependent. If there’s a good story that’s worth telling, I got no problem being a part of it", Green tells E Online.

"In fact, I’d love to do it. But you know, I couldn’t actually be Buffy. I don’t kick like her [Sarah Michelle Gellar], and quite frankly, I don’t bring in the crowd. I think it has something to do with her exceptional figure and gorgeous face."

First things first. That "Spike" telemovie.

  • I doubt it’ll happen, if it does it won’t be for a while. Probably wouldn’t even have Sarah in it, anyway. She’s moved on to her movie career.
  • Okay, that sounded stupid when I said "she’s moved onto her movie career", what I meant was that she’s moved away from Buffy projects in general. Sorry about that y’all.
  • Regarding Sarah doing anything else with Buffy, it could happen. I think she was just tired of playing the same character for seven years straight — actors do like variety in their roles. And she was pretty vocal she never really liked the direction the last two seasons went. Give her some time to breathe and not be Buffy for a while, then present her with a script that knocks her socks off, and maybe she’ll do it.
