Syfy is buzzing with talks on how to bring back the popular series “Firefly” which was also turned into a movie called “Serenity”. An inside source at the Syfy Network has told Nerdles, “There is one show that keeps getting buzz around here and it is ‘Firefly’. This series always comes up in discussions about new shows or how to revamp the schedule. Options on whether it will be a continuation of the series or another movie that takes over from the end of “Serenity”has been discussed.” Syfy would love to bring back the original series but the main characters might be hard to get as they have moved on to other projects. Maybe a prequel would be great for another season as that would allow for a whole new cast to be inserted. Anyway, this would be great news for all of us “Firefly” fans who thought the series should never have been canceled.
