CONFIRMED: Industrial Light & Magic Doing VFX For The Avengers!

The Academy Award-winning motion picture visual effects company have confirmed via their official website that they are working on The Avengers for Marvel Studios... Wondering why this is such fantastic news? Well, as I’m sure many of you will already know, ILM are responsible for the VFX seen in the likes of the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises as well as Marvel Studios’ Iron Man and Iron Man 2. So, the same company who have brought the Armored Avenger to life on the big screen twice already will now be doing the same for him and the rest of The Avengers in 2012!

With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Rufallo as Bruce Banner, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, The Avengers is set to be released on May 4, 2012!
