The Grudge 2 has the director but waiting on the star

Japanese scaremeister Takashi Shimizu has signed on to direct The Grudge 2 - Which makes sense seeing as he directed no less than two sequels to his Japanese original. There’s no news on whether Sarah Michelle Gellar will return to be scared out of her wits once more by supernaturally animated hair, but we are fairly confident The World’s Coolest Frenchman™ will not be around to help her out.
