The Hollywood Reporter has published the latest casting bits from Hollywood. First up, Isla Fisher (I Heart Huckabees) will star in New Line’s Wedding Crashers, directed by David Dobkin. In the Owen Wilson-Vince Vaughn starrer, Fisher plays a seemingly wholesome but sexually charged sister of Wilson’s crush who loses her virginity to Vaughn’s character.

Next up is Emmanuelle Chriqui (The Crow: Wicked Prayer) who is starring in Adam and Eve for director Jeff Kanew. The film tells the story of the ups and down of a relationship between Adam and Eve (Chriqui) and how they cope with Eve’s decision to remain a virgin.

Kat Dennings (Raising Dad) and Dana David (Boston Public) are starring opposite Hilary Duff in New Line’s Heart of Summer for director Sean McNamara. In the coming-of-age drama, Dennings plays an intense, gifted pianist. David plays Duff’s roommate.

Amy Irving (Traffic) has been cast opposite Robert De Niro in 20th Century Fox’s Hide and Seek for director John Polson. She will play De Niro’s suicidal wife.

Alan Dale (The O.C.) is joining the cast of New Line’s After the Sunset for director Brett Ratner. He will play the security chief in charge of guarding the Napoleon Diamond, a jewel that Pierce Brosnan’s character is trying to steal.

Arielle Kebbel (Gilmore Girls, Soul Plane) is joining up Be Cool, MGM’s sequel to Get Shorty that is being directed by F. Gary Gray. She will play the assistant to a music manager.

KaDee Strickland (Something’s Gotta Give) is set to co-star in Sony Pictures’ The Grudge for director Takashi Shimizu. In the horror movie that stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jason Behr, Strickland will play Behr’s sister.

And Connie Britton has nabbed the female lead in Imagine/Universal’s Friday Night Lights, directed by Peter Berg. She will play the wife of a football coach (Billy Bob Thornton) in the story of a Texas high school football team.
