  The main character wasn’t gay, but her sister comes out in the first episode and has a relationship through the beginning of the series. Also, the two creators of the show (Bryan Fuller and Todd Holland) are openly gay.

  The sister of the main character comes out in the very first episode, then there’s this whole warped relationship with a previously married woman who goes back to her husband in the end. it was cool.
