Tyra teaches more model wannabes how to sashay (david boreanaz mention)

Eddie Cibrian: Hunting

"America’s Next Top Model" (8 p.m., WKBD-TV, Channel 50, UPN). Season premiere. Leggy in La La Land. Tyra Banks and her stylish runway minions welcome 32 aspiring supermodels to the Left Coast. Object? Find the 13 grooviest girls to be finalists. Hark, isn’t that the Cruella de Vil of the Catwalk? Yep, flamboyant fashion flapjaw Janice Dickinson makes a surprise visit. Meow.

Rock ’n’ talk

"All We Are Saying" (8 p.m., Showtime). Talk it like they rock it. Actress and hardcore music fan Rosanna Arquette has put together a lively documentary look at the music industry, featuring colorful, eclectic sound bite encounters with more than 50 artists and industry insiders, including Joni Mitchell, Peter Gabriel, Mary J. Blige, Chrissie Hynde and Iggy Pop.

FBI-yi-yi

"Bones" (9 p.m., WJBK-TV, Channel 2, Fox). Dr. Whodunit, please. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) discovers unexplained remains during an investigation at the site of an airline crash. The plane was carrying Chinese diplomats. But a mystery woman seems to have been on board. So isn’t this where FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) ticks Brennan off with a few sly wisecracks? Hope so.

Deactivate brain!

"Project Runway" (10 p.m., Bravo). Season finale. It takes three to tango during Fashion Week. But tonight, only one of the three designer finalists will stroll away as No. 1. So who’s it going to be, Santino, Chloe or former Michigander Daniel Vosovic? "Will & Grace" star Debra Messing joins Heidi Klum and the other judges for the selection party.

The winner lands bundles of boodle, including a stash of cash to launch a fashion line, a fashion spread in Elle and a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster for fashionable hot wheels fun. Just remember, as with "Top Model," it’s best to hit the off switch on your brain before viewing.

Alien encounter

"Invasion" (10 p.m., WXYZ-TV, Channel 7, ABC). Alien bun in the oven. The odd couple of the Everglades, honorable Russell (Eddie Cibrian) and sneaky Sheriff Underlay (William Fichtner), team up to track mutant hybrids Derek (Michael Mitchell) and pregnant Christina (Elisabeth Moss). Having played sweet Zoey Bartlet on "The West Wing," Moss seems to be enjoying herself in the hot-tempered, "Invasion" twilight zone of weird gestation. My, Christina, that little nipper’s really kicking.

Jon and Neil

"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" (11 p.m., Comedy Central). So he wasn’t the world’s greatest Oscar host. As the sly fake news guy on "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart’s the most. And after Stewart does the funny headline dance tonight, rock ’n’ roll icon Neil Young drops by for a visit. Heart of gold, baby.
