Whedonverse Stars 2007-2008 Season Tv Guide

A couple of shows are right now on the air or finished its run :

"Heartland" starring Morena Baccarin as Jessica Kivala finished its first season August the 13th. The fate is still up in the air.

"Flight 29 Down" starring Kristy Wu (Slayer Chao-Ahn during the last season of "Buffy") ended after two seasons with a TV-movie on August the 25th on Discovery Kids.

The first season of "Mad Men" starring Vincent Kartheiser (Connor on "Angel") and Christina Hendricks (Saffron on "Firefly") airs thursdays on AMC.

"Weeds" stars Indigo (slayer Rona on "Buffy") as Vaneeta. The show is right now in its third season and airs every Monday on Showtime.

Summer Glau (River on "Firefly" and "Serenity") has the recurring part of Tess on "The 4400". The show is in its fourth season. The next new episode airs Sunday, September the 9th on the USA Network.

Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia on "Buffy" and "Angel") is going to guest-star in the first season finale of "Greek". The episode airs Monday, September the 10th on ABC Family. The show will be back for a second season next year and Charisma Carpenter will return as well.

"Saving Grace" stars Bailey Chase (Rileys buddy Graham during the seasons 4 and 5 of "Buffy"). The first season airs every Monday on TNT.

"Robot Chicken" is an animated TV-show, created, written, directed, voiced and... mhh... "played" by Seth Green. It’s a stop-motion comedy with toys. The show has Whedon-related guests on a regular basis. "Robot Chicken" airs in Cartoon Network’s "Adult Swim"-block at sundays 11:30 PM. The show is in its third season.

These shows are on hiatus and will return soon :

"Chuck" stars Adam Baldwin (Jayne on "Firefly" and "Serenity" and Hamilton on "Angel"). The show premieres Monday, September the 24th on NBC.

"How I Met Your Mother" returns with its third season Monday, September the 24th on CBS. Alyson Hannigan stars as Lily.

"Heroes" returns with its second season Monday, September the 24th on NBC. Leonard Roberts (Forrest, Rileys friend on the fourth season of "Buffy") starred in season one, his return is unknown. Dania Ramirez (Slayer Caridad on the final season of "Buffy") joins the cast as Maya.

"Bones" stars David Boreanaz (Angel on "Buffy" and "Angel") and Tamara Taylor (The teacher in "Serenity"). The third season premieres Tuesday, September the 25th.

"Grey’s Anatomy" returns with its fourth season Thursday, September the 27th on ABC. Kali Rocha (Halfrek in seasons 6 and 7 of "Buffy") has a recurring part.

"Without A Trace" returns with its sixth season Thursday, September the 27th on CBS. James Marsters (Spike on "Buffy" and "Angel") joins the cast in the recurring part of Detectice Mars.

"Numbers" returns with its third season starring David Krumholtz (Mr. Universe in "Serenity") and Navi Rawat (Crazy Slayer Dana on "Angel"). The new season premieres Friday, September 28th.

Jewel Staite (Kaylee on "Firefly" and "Serenity") has a recurring role on the fourth season of "Stargate Atlantis". The season starts on Friday, September the 28th on SciFi.

"Desperate Housewives" starts its forth season Sunday, September the 30th on ABC at 9 PM. Nathan Fillion joins the cast as Adam, a gynecologist and new neighbor.

The second season of "Dexter", starring Julie Benz as Rita premieres Sunday, September the 30th on Showtime.

Distant future/mid-season :

"Nurses" starring Eliza Dushku did not get a pick-up, but 20th Century Fox wants to produce a new show for Eliza Dushku.

"The Sarah Connor Chronicles" stars Summer Glau (River on "Firefly" and "Serenity") and will premiere on Fox at midseason.

"Lost" stars Daniel Dae Kim (Gavin Park on "Angel", seasons 2-4). Sam Anderson (Holland Manners during the second season of "Angel") has a recurring role on the show. Season 4 of "Lost" returns at midseason (February 2008) on ABC.

"The L Word" stars Laurel Holloman (Justine on "Angel" seasons 3 and 4). The show returns for its fifth season in January 2008 on Showtime.
