Sure everyone wastes money on stuff they don’t need. But in this case, $800 was being spent to meet people on Buffy. The $800 is instead lining the pockets of a seedy promoter. Sure that’s wrong. That guy is a jerk, but at the same time Buffy fans made themselves an easy target. Yes, I would prefer that money to have gone to feed starving children, rather than this jerk promoter. In my opinion, it’s not really worth it. You’re not meeting the character’s they play, just the people who play them. I know that sounds obvious, but I really wonder if most fans "deep down" really make (...)
