"So You Think You Can Dance" (8 p.m., WJBK-TV, Channel 2). Shake a tail feather sweepstakes. It’s not as lighthearted and upbeat as ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars," but Fox has found modest success with an "American Idol"-style dance competition. The 50 dancers who made it to Hollywood are trimmed to 26. Couldn’t they have eliminated judge Nigel Lythgoe? His drab prefab putdowns lack the tart zing of Simon Cowell’s real thing.
Family fare? Not!
