He still shoulda been cast in the title role though. I used to love the show as a kid (at least the Tom Baker years), and haven’t seen the new generation (or the movie from the 90s either) since I don’t have cable. But they need someone like him if this show’s gonna last. Besides you coulda gotten Ally or something as his traveling companion that way. :)
