Saturday 26 November 2005, by The Truth Is Out There : Why, oh, why do people insist on continuing to perpetuate malicious gossip? The so-called "news" published a few months ago claiming Gellar was desperate to go nude in her films was a COMPLETE AND UTTER LIE started in the British tabloids and quickly spread across the Internet. No matter how often the lie is told it always remains a lie. Repeating it parrot fashion does not suddenly make it true. The latest little titbit in the New York Post is, basically, exactly the same thing but in reverse, simply something we already know used to fill up a couple of column inches. All it does is give the orginal gossip renewed legs. It is already well known that Gellar has stated on several occasions that she is not comfortable with the idea of doing nudes scenes and has no intention of doing so. There is no more to it than that.
