I wouldn’t know if he’s ever introduced her to his son or niece. As far as waiting for the kids to leave home, his son doesn’t live with him, so, that’s not an issue. I know James always talks about his niece living with him, but, I’m not so sure she still is, what with him spending so much time away from home lately. But, if she is still living with him, I think she’s around 12 years old, so, it will be, at least, 5 more years before she’s ready to go off to college.
