I’m on the record as saying a sequel to 28 DAYS LATER, called 28 WEEKS LATER, is a terrifically bad idea. Especially when the movie follows the cure of the Rage virus, the repopulation of London and then the reinfection after a guy somehow wanders in and everything starts all over again. Sounds kinda cheesy to me. Jeremy Renner, who starred in the indie flick DAHMER, will star as the hero Sgt. Doyle who is part of the Special Forces team working to restore order in London.
