A few weeks ago the Flanvention II was about to be cancelled but then they said everything would be okay and it would in fact take place.
Now today they caused confusion again by posting an announcement on their board that there will be no Flanvention because the Hilton cancelled the event. They got some panicky reactions from their users. Shortly after that they said that they got a second phone call from the Hilton in which they said there would be no cancellation.
