Officials with the Indianapolis International Film Festival are still tabulating, but they expect to have sold nearly 6,000 tickets this year — a 20 percent increase from 2006.
Now in its fourth year, the organization gathers independent, foreign and documentary films from around the globe.
Nearly 200 features and shorts were shown during the 11-day festival, which ended Saturday.
