Angel
What is it? A spin-off from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel saw the eponymous vampire-with-a-soul (David Boreanaz) travel to LA to set up an agency to "help the helpless". Over the course of five seasons, he morphed into the head of a demonic law film (aren’t they all?) and we last saw him standing with his few remaining allies as the entire city was invaded by hell-beasts. And a dragon.
Why would it work as a film? The ultra-bleak cliffhanger ending was a reflection of how betrayed (...)
