After I posted I got that I got that “well, duh” feeling. Sometimes one has to state the obvious to keep it obvious. I agree with everything you wrote, more or less. After working for a couple of Silicon Valley start-ups I can appreciate the panic and desperation when management wakes up to a good idea gone bad or just not quite good enough. There’s a mad scramble to bury the old idea and find the next new thing. No manager wants to throw good money after questionable. A ratings blip in a five-year-old show may not have been enough to impress the Suits. If that had (...)
