Sorry. That ending was the definition of a cliffhanger. A cliffhanger is when a story or TV series for this matter, ends with a suspense or without a resolution.
I think Joss could have done a 2-hour season finale if he couldn’t fit it in 1 hour. I know he’s against it, but if they can have a 2 hour season finale and premiere for a regular season of Buffy. They could do it for the SERIES finale of ANGEL. I think that, the movies with tie up loose ends. It’s clear that Angel obviously wasn’t ready to end. Too many things weren’t resolved.
