you almost wouldn’t expect someone who didn’t enjoy any of Whedon’s series to not enjoy the speech given at the end... the speech is Whedon’s style and makes an appearance somewhere or another in all of his shows; you also wouldn’t expect him to catch the reference of the group shot at the end.... you can almost imagine Whedon using that in the opening credits of the series
