EVERYONE in LA was "treated" for scoliosis. It was like the trendy deformity when I was in school (many years before SMG, however!) The school nurse would check us over and some outrageous number of girls — waaay more than 2.5 % — were told we had "borderline scoliosis". Must have been some sort of kickback to the schools or something. OK, rant over.
