Sunday 27 June 2004, by Snoozer : Seven and a half for A Hole in the World?? That was easily one of the finest episodes of Angel this season (or any season). Heck, even Ain’t it Cool News gave it a perfect rating (saying it was one of the best episodes ever). Sure it’s emotional ... but unwatchable?? I watched that thing (both with and without friends) more than five times ... I’d hardly classify it as unwatchable.Monday 28 June 2004, by Anne : Kudos for such a great overall review of the last season! I am in complete agreement with your views!Tuesday 29 June 2004, by Wolverine68 : CJL likes to over rate. everything seems to be rannked really high, even for a high quality show like Angel. What I can’t get is how Harm’s Way & The Girl In Question got a 7. They were the low points of the season, and should be ranked no more then a 5.01. Tuesday 29 June 2004, by txsnowangel84 : LIFE OF THE PARTY - (Grade: 7 out of 10) I love Lorne episodes. Lorne is my favorite character on the show (besides the obvious—Angel) This was a great episode showing how Wolfram & Hart is affecting Lorne. My rating 8.5 LINEAGE - (Grade: 7 out of 10) This episode was a great story about Wes. We got to see all sides of him. My rating 8 YOU’RE WELCOME - (Grade: 8.5 out of 10) Charisma Carpenter was AWESOME in this episode. I was glad for the Cordy character story to finally end. But I wish she hadn’t died. My rating 10!!! SMILE TIME - (Grade: 9.5 out of 10) I agree they should make little puppet Angel. I would defiantly purchase one. A HOLE IN THE WORLD - (Grade: 7.5 out of 10) This was an excellent episode were Amy Acker was the one that needed rescueing. It was a heart wrenching episode and I was crying thought out the entire episode. In my opinion this deserved way better than a 7.5. I think it deserved at least a 8.5-9 minimum. SHELLS - (Grade: 8 out of 10) It was interesting watching Amy Acker play another character. Seeing how she could change and from a sweet innocent character (Fred) to a not so innocent character (Illirya(sp?)) My rating 8.5 UNDERNEATH - (Grade: 9 out of 10) In my opinion they shouldn’t of brought Hamilton in this late in the Season. He should of been in the Season the hole time. He was a lot better Liason to the Senior Partners than Eve in my opinion. ORIGIN - (Grade: 8.5 out of 10) Yes it was nice to finally get the Connor story finished with. But I believe it could of been better. My rating 7 THE GIRL IN QUESTION - (Grade: 7 out of 10) I didn’t care for the story line. One moment they aren’t even talking about Buffy then all of a sudden they are chasing her down. My rating 5 http://sage.n-connect.net/SweetPea Wednesday 30 June 2004, by Anonymous : "Unleashed" being described as "Craft and Fain’s worst script" gave me a chuckle. How quickly they forget—this is the duo that gave us "Shiny Happy People," hands-down the worst 42 minutes of television in the twelve years of BtVS and AtS...Friday 2 July 2004, by Aussie mum and Angel fan : Great reviews I agree with the ratings. Angel really grew in quality over the season in particular I thought from that wonderful "You’re Welcome" epsiode. Those last moments of DB and CC were memorable. Angel was a classy under-rated show filled with many memorable moments, quality writing and acting that will be missed on television. For us Aussies we have 2 episodes to go and relishing every moment but fearing the end.Saturday 3 July 2004, by Steve : Hi all, Just thought Id mention for aussie fans that James Masters will be on Rove Live on Tuesday 6th of July. Sunday 4 July 2004, by Anonymous : Shiny Happy People is way too underrated, more episodes this season and on the last Buffy season were far worse than that. Unleashed was pathetic, at least Shiny Happy People was creepy and a nice homage to 50s paranoia films and such.Thursday 16 September 2004, by Anonymous : Yes, Shiny Happy People is very underrated. I’ve noticed Most people who don’t like that arc are people who enjoyed Buffy Season 7 alot. I can pick out at least 40 episodes of Buffy that are 10x worse than Shiny Happy People. Beer Bad anyone? What about half of Season 5 of ATS? Like...Harm’s Way or Why We Fight The Girl in Question is also pretty sad, a damn waste of an episode. 3 episodes left, and we get Andrew and pathetic flashbacks with Darla and Dru with a few lines and Angelus out of character actin like an idiot. The only thing that saved that episode was Wesley. These comments are an anwser to this article : Angel Season Five :CJL’s Review
